Croatia Tour - Dalmatian Islands

With more than 1700km of natural Adriatic coastline, hundreds of little islands and one of the sunniest climates in Europe, Croatia is a stunning place with a fascinating culture and friendly locals.

Suggested Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Split (D)
Meet with your tour leader in the afternoon. Free time until dinner.
Overnight in Split

Day2: Split/Trogir - Hvar (by ferry) (B,L,D)
Proceed to Hvar Island (by ferry - 20km & approximately 2hrs). Then transfer to StariGrad and enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city. After lunch transfer to Hvar City and do some sightseeing.
Dinner and overnight in Hvar

Day3: Hvar - Korcula (250km) (B,L,D)
Travel to Vrbovska, a small town full of charming streets, then transfer to the ferry in the town of Sucuraj, towards Drvenik. Proceed to Peljesac Peninsula, famous for its wine yards, and oyster culture. Travel by ferry to Korcula Island and have lunch followed by some sightseeing in Korcula. Thanks to its city walls, its natural forests and its red wine, the island is one of the most appealing in Dalmatia.

Day 4: Korcula - Mljet - Korcula (boat excursion) (B,L,D)
Travel by ferry to the Peljesac Peninsula, to then take the ferry to the Mljet Islands. You will explore the beautiful national park of Mljet. After lunch some sightseeing of the monastery that is situated on a small island in the middle of the lake. Transfer by ferry back to Korcula.

Day 5: Korcula - Dubrovnik (177km) (B,L,D)
Transfer to Duvrovnik and en route a short stop in Ston, to enjoy a wine and oysters tasting, the specialities of the Peninsula.
After lunch travel on to Dubrovnik for sightseeing with a local guide: St Blaise Church, Cathedral, Dominican and Franciscan monasteries, Roland’s column, Onophrio fountain, and the unforgettable city walls. Finally you will enjoy a panoramic view and sunset over the old town.

Day 6: Dubrovnik, Elaphiti Islands, Dubrovnik (boat excursion) (B,L,D)
You go to the harbour where you will begin an excursion to the Elaphiti Islands. Today you will have a picnic on board. After lunch there is free time to enjoy the island and the beach. Then return to Dubrovnik.

Day 7: Dubrovnik – Trogir/Split (205 km) (B,L,D)
Start with a panoramic drive to Split. Sightseeing of Split with one of our best local guides. You will see the Docletian Palace, St. Dominus Cathedral and the Peristyle. After lunch you go to Trogir, a charming UNESCO heritage city. There will be some time at leisure in the afternoon.

Day 8: Trogir/Split (B)
After breakfast, a transfer to the airport.
