Buenos Aires is known internationally for being the city where tango music and dance was nurtured. Dance is one of the most important expressions of the tango and its visual beauty and drama perfectly illustrates the spirit of the music. On this tour you will see a spectacular tango show in a district where Carlos Gardel, the “father of the tango”, once lived.
El Calafate and Iguassu Falls extension tours are also available and also private tango lessons on request.
Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Buenos Aires
After the welcome at the international airport, transfer to your selected hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2: –Buenos Aires city tour (B)
You will have a city tour of Buenos Aires including its different districts, communities and architectural styles. Free afternoon.
Day 3: Buenos Aires and Tango (B)
Day at leisure. In the evening enjoy dinner and tango show. This show takes place in and imposing room located in the heart of Abasto district. While dinner is served, a screen situated on stage shows the history of the tango. The tango is later performed on stage by five talented dance couples. For this dinner show departure is around 8-8:30pm and the return to the hotel is late!
Day 4: Buenos Aires - Tango lessons (B)
You will participate in a group tango lesson and share in the passion for this Argentinean dance.
Day 5: Buenos Aires - Tango lesson (B)
You will participate in a second group tango lesson.
Day 6: Depart Buenos Aires
Transfer to the airport.
