Maradiva Villas sit on Tamarin Bay, on the island’s west coast, a position that affords sensational views to Mt Tamarin and the spectacularly jagged mountain peaks to the south.

The resort’s design is a unique fusion of Indian, African and Arabic elements. It’s like nowhere else on earth. Stone archways divide the lobby and bar from the outdoor terraces, the ‘Cilantro’ restaurant has rustic timber doors, obelisk shaped pillars support vaulted timber roofs and Moorish motifs adorn metal window screens and hanging lanterns.

Each villa and suite is a spacious haven, with an ultra large terrace so guests can make the most of sunny days and balmy evenings in the privacy of their own surrounds. The 65 villas have private plunge pools with day bed, dining and lounging area with a lush garden beyond.
