A Week in Vietnam Tour

Group size is a minimum of 7 and a maximum of 16 people. For travellers with limited time, this journey gives you an introduction to Vietnam. It is suitable for those with an average level of fitness and mobility.

Suggested Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Saigon
Upon arrival in Saigon you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Tonight meet your tour leader or local guide for welcome drinks and a tour briefing.

Day 2: Saigon (B)
See the sights of old and new Saigon in the central ‘French quarter’ and the Chinatown district, then visit Cu Chi tunnels.

Day 3: Mekong Delta (B)
Explore the Mekong Delta’s canals, orchards and towns by boat and a chance to interact with the locals.

Day 4: Saigon to Hanoi (B, L)
Fly to Hanoi and visit historic Ba Dinh Square, the Ho Chi Minh Quarter, the infamous Hoa Lo (Hanoi Hilton) prison and the peaceful Temple of Literature.

Day 5: Hanoi to Halong Bay (B, L, D)
Spend a magical night onboard your private boat in Halong Bay.
Overnight accommodation on board a boat in Halong Bay. The private junks feature simple but comfortable cabins with air-conditioning and private, en suite facilities.

Day 6: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)
Disembark this afternoon and drive back to Hanoi.

Day 7: Depart Hanoi (B)
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
