An Ultra Rare Centenary Dive to the R.M.S. Titanic
An Ultra Rare Centenary Dive to the R.M.S. Titanic
Just how rare is a trip to the legendary R.M.S. Titanic? Less than 150 people have ever dove to 12,500 feet (3800 meters) below to see the luxury liner. That means that 18 times as many people have climbed Mount Everest and three times as many people have gone into space. And how many people do you think have seen the ship in the 100th year after sinking in North Atlantic? No one…at least not yet.
There are two ‘Centenary Dive Series’ expeditions to the RMS Titanic in 2012. The two identical expeditions will be staged out of St John’s, Newfoundland and will run between July 2- July 15, 2024 (at sea 3rd-July 15) and July 14 - July 27, 2024 (at sea July 15 - July 27). Participation is limited to just 20 divers per expedition.
There are only 4 spots left for this adventure. Contact Concierge Traveller to enquire.
Participants will spend a pre-departure night in St John’s in order to attend the introductory expedition dinner prior to boarding our expedition vessel for the 350nm voyage to the Titanic site. Our arrival will be marked by a short ceremony to commemorate the loss of this fine ship, and then our dive operations will commence. During the dive series, participants will enjoy specialist lectures, observe the Mir submersible programme in action and enjoy international class cuisine with their fellow expeditioners.
