Joanna Hardy’s luxurious Three Day Masterclasses are held in Private Suites at the beautiful and exclusive Capital Hotel in Knightsbridge, located just behind Harrods.
Joanna is a very highly regarded jewellery expert and has spent over 30 years in all aspects of the jewellery industry; from diamond dealing to goldsmithing, from valuing to being a specialist on the BBC Antiques Roadshow. This vast knowledge and years of expertise allows her to guide you through the intricacies of the jewellery world, assisted by informative and animated lectures. Each day you will be gripped by her effortless enthusiasm and you will be involved in fascinating and interactive discussions.

The Capital Hotel provides the perfect location for such an attentive course, where you will be served a delicious working lunch and fresh tea, coffee and biscuits throughout each day, finishing with a well deserved glass of wine and canapés.

Day One
Over a 10 o’clock morning coffee, Joanna will introduce you to her industry before she begins her first lecture.

- 1900-1935 The age of Decadence and Discovery

Day Two
- Introduction to the Wonderful World of Gemstones
- Diamond and Pearl, The King and Queen of the Gemstone World

Day Three
- May Masterclass: A private view of the exhibition at Wartski’s; A Diamond Jubilee Tribute, Fabergé from a Private Collection.
- November Masterclass: Joanna will give the class a guided tour of the V&A’s stunning collection of Jewellery
- 1940’s Austerity to the Opulence of the 1950‘s
- Jewellery as an Art Form, 1960-2012
