Your favourite hotel & why?
My favourite hotel is The Claremont Country Estate and Nature Reserve, 45 minutes out of Christchurch. It’s a luxury homestead with some of the countries finest scenery on it door step; beautiful!

Your favourite airline & why?
My favourite airline would be Air New Zealand in economy; yummy food, wine, great staff and excellent seat pitch and Qantas for business class.  Extremely high standard in their new product.

A recommendation for our clients
If you’re in Paris you have to go up the Eiffel Tower, followed by a trip to the Picasso museum then dinner in the Latin Quarter!  It doesn’t get much better then that!

Most memorable moment when travelling?
Waking up the first morning of my Galapagos Island cruise with the sun beating down and having whales and dolphins swimming around the boat!  Seriously, I had never experienced anything like that before and cannot wait to do it again!  Getting to the end of the Inca Trail still standing was pretty cool too!

Favourite thing about travelling?
I love experiencing new things.  When travelling I always eat out at little local places.  I love talking to strangers and getting to know the area from a local’s perspective rather than just sticking to the tourist route!

Least favourite thing about travelling?
My worst thing about travelling is leaving before I want to!

Couldn’t leave home without?
I couldn’t leave home without my camera (or mobile) but not when I’m on holiday!

Next journey & why you want to go there?
My next journey is rural Ireland, London, Germany and San Francisco – Ireland for my friends wedding (and beer), London for family and history (and pub lunches), Germany for a new experience and San Francisco to end on a high!
