You favourite hotel & why?
Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town. It is situated with panoramic views of Table Bay and Table Mountain and offers a very luxurious old world feel of Cape Town and you fall in love and never want to leave it the minute you walk into the foyer.

Your favourite airline & why?
Singapore Airlines for the in flight entertainment and convenience and facilities of Changi airport.

A recommendation for our clients?
If visiting South Africa an absolute must is to experience a private game lodge safari in the Eastern Transvaal.  The experience is spectacular. Game viewing in open vehicles and enjoying breakfast out in the bush and seeing prides of lions all around you (when you are in the vehicle) is just an experience difficult to match. A safari in the Masai Mara in Kenya around migration time is also amazing. The open plains with animals dotted everywhere take your breath away and the accommodation is superb (if doing it privately)

Most memorable moment when travelling?
Visiting Paris and seeing the Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysees at night. Just a magnificent city

Favourite thing about travelling?
Experiencing and seeing things I have always wanted to do.

Least favourite thing about travelling?
Packing to go

Couldn’t leave home without?
My first aid bag – Have to ensure I have everything I need in case I catch a travel bug or the kids get sick. I literally travel with the pharmacy!

Next journey & why you want to go there?
Going home to South Africa again in December but if I could go anywhere I’d go back to Europe in the summer and play along the meditteranean coast. Eat at Greek taverna’s late at night and swim in the oceans during the day. Would definitely do a drive holiday in Italy as well.
