With 50 states to choose from all with their own attractions and culture, where do you start when you travel to the USA? Flanked by 2 oceans with a massive land mass in between the options are too great. Despite its refusal to fit within homogeneous confines, the U.S. is an economic and military powerhouse. Its sole superpower status draws a torrent of tourists through its borders every day. This is a Gondola ride up the mountain. I did this trip in winter and even thoughVancouverhad no snow up the mountains it was covered and it was so beautiful to see. Great spot for lunch and a hot chocolate. - Tania

Stanley National Park –Vancouver
This Aquarium bets any other anywhere as it is on a huge scale and has Beluga whales! It is not to be missed as it will really surprise you. The National park itself is very green and great for walks, picnics or even just a drive. - Tania

Traditional French in courtyard adjacent to the Inn at the Market just off Pike Place Market. Very French area and very charming – Don and Georgie

PF Chang, Seattle.
Although a chain restaurant and large in size, the Asian fare we found outstanding and not expensive but very stylish. Also good bar. Would go back tomorrow. – Don and Georgie
