Embark on this 25 day cruise aboard freighter MV Hugo Shulte, from Sydney to West Coast USA in 26 days. Depart Sydney and travel north via New Zealand, stopping at Oakland, USA.

This ship has 5 air-conditioned cabins, all with their own facilities. All linen is provided and is cleaned weekly. The ship has a small fitness room, table tennis small sauna, inside pool - lounge with video/TV which is shared with the officers. The TV is available when the ship is in port.

Twin bed owner’s cabin located on 5^th Deck – cabin is carpeted and has small refrigerator, sofa TV/DVD – open view astern and to side.

This ship has 4 single cabins( 2 with refrigerator) located on the 5th and 3rd Decks – with views possibly restricted by containers. TV will work when in ports and cabin has a DVD.

All cabins have their own private facilities and are air-conditioned.

Requirements

Non-immigrant American tourist visa is required as you are arriving or departing by cargo ship - copy of passport/visa required prior to ticket been issued. Must visit consulate for visual interview - leave passport and complete application forms on line/select appropriate date from consulate calander for interview.

Travel insurance is compulsory.
Passengers must be in possession of a valid passport with at least 6 months validity.

Cancellation

Cancellation by the passenger for any reason is subject to the following cancellation charges (subject to shipping company):

up to 61 days prior to departure - from AUD500 to loss of deposit paid
60 to 30 days prior to departure - 25% of the fare
30 to 01 days prior to departure - 50% of the fare
No refund is available when cancellation advice is received on the day of departure or once the voyage has commenced. No refund is paid for early disembarkation.
You must have comprehensive Travel Insurance which will include cancellation cover due to medical, family crisis and other substantial reasons not to travel.
