Walking the Wild Side of Bourmot, Spain

In Catalonia, Spain you can walk an abandoned paradise discovering the current fauna and the vestiges of a not so far, ancient life. A great alternative to the Camino de Santiago!

Three days of unceasing adventure in one of the most unexplored, uninhabited, and peculiar spots of Catalonia.

In the most unknown Pre-Pyrenean area, you will be riding in 4×4 vehicles along infinite trails, enjoying excursions through old animal pathways, and visiting the most precious and valued spots of the Boumort National Reserve.

The first night will be spent in the middle of nature in an antique ranger house, today restored into a mountain refuge, and the second one in an exclusive mountain camp, set up exclusively for you, under the magic, troglodyte villages of Solduga and Espluga, in suspension between earth and the sky.

  • Troglodyte villages built in caves that have been inhabited from unknown times until mid-20th century.

  • Enjoy a night under the stars in an exclusive mountain camp, in a unique surrounding.

  • Taste the variety of products and flavours of the local traditional mountain Pyrenean gastronomy.

  • Varied sceneries, due to the different altitudes, orientations, and geological factors.
