A unique insight into Rajasthan, this India tour with delightful, off-the-beaten track: accommodation in deserts, villages and cities and national parks. Your experiences will range from safaris to enjoying a ride in a royal vintage car in Jodhpur.
Suggested Itinerary:
DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI
On arrival you will be taken to your hotel.
Overnight: The Imperial
DAY 2: DELHI (B)
A tour of Old and New Delhi. In Old Delhi you will see the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk. New Delhi is a city of wide boulevards of e of Lutyen's landscaped city. You will visit Qutab Minar, a tower dating back to the 13th century, and Humanyun's Tomb which was built in the 16th century.
Overnight: The Imperial
DAY 3: DELHI – AGRA (B)
Early this morning you will be transferred to the station for your train to Agra. On arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel where you can leave baggage and have breakfast (check-in after 1400). You will then be escorted on a tour of Agra which will include a visit to Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal.

DAY 4: AGRA-BHARATPUR-RANTHAMBORE (B, L. D)
After breakfast you will be taken to Bharatpur station for your train to Sawai Madhopur. Upon arrival you will be driven to your jungle camp. Ranthambore remains one of Rajasthan's last sizeable stretches of verdant grassland and jungle.

DAY 5: RANTHAMBORE (B, L, D)
Early in the morning there will be your first game viewing drive and there will also be an afternoon game drive.

DAY 6: RANTHAMBORE – JAIPUR (B)
This morning, on this India tour, you will be driven to Jaipur. Early evening you will be accompanied on a walk through this historic hotel which ends at the Polo Bar and a glass of champagne.

DAY 7: JAIPUR (B)
Full day excursion to Jaipur. You will drive past the Palace of Winds then continue to Amber Fort. Later in the day India tour, you will visit the Maharaja's City Palace and the Jantar Mantar observatory.

DAY 8: JAIPUR – NIMAJ (B, L, D)
You will be driven to Nimaj for two nights in a tent on a dam overlooking the lake. In the evening you can participate in a cooking demonstration with the Nimaj family.
Overnight: Chhatrasagar Camps
DAY 9: NIMAJ (B, L, D)
Spend the day at leisure here on your India tour walking, bird watching or chatting with the family. There will be evening ‘sundowners’ on the hill overlooking the lake.

DAY 10: NIMAJ- ROHET (B)
You will be driven to the small village of Rohet Garh and in the evening you will be taken for a Bishnoi Village Safari.

DAY 11: (B, L)
You will be driven into Jodhpur, one of the most dramatic cities on this India tour. dominated by the Mehrangarh Fort atop a sheer rocky ridge. Your tour includes a visit to the fort followed by lunch at Umaid Bhawan Palace. Later you will be taken for a ride in one of the Royal Vintage Cars.
Overnight: Rohetgarh- Deluxe room
DAY 12: ROHET- DELWARA (B, L)
You will be driven to Udaipur. Then, enjoy lunch at Fateh Bagh, after which you go to Delwara. Check in at Devigarh, a heritage palace and a special highlight of this India tour. The rest of your day is at leisure.

DAY 13: UDAIPUR (B, L)
Today you will be taken on a sightseeing tour of Udaipur city. Lunch at Raj Bagh, and return to Devigarh.

DAY 14: UDAIPUR – MUMBAI- DESTINATION (B)
Transfer to the airport and flight to Mumbai. On arrival, you will be driven to the Orchid hotel where a room is held for you until 2000 hours. To complete the India tour, you will be taken to the international airport for your departure.
